Horizon School Division
The Horizon School Division #67 is located in southern Alberta. 12 schools joined the Carbon Busters program in 2003 and two more schools joined the program later. Students and staff have been working very hard under the guidance of Andy, the district's coordinator for the Carbon Busters program. During the first year average savings were over 88 cents/m2 school area or 6.7 kg/CO2e reductions per m2.

Andy is very dedicated to reducing energy consumption in the schools in the Horizon division. Not only is he the coordinator for the Horizon schools participating in the Carbon Busters program but he also ensures that the new schools build in the district will be at the forefront of energy efficiency.
