Eco-Star Award
In 2003 we introduced the Eco-Star Award, an award that recognizes teachers, students and custodians that have made special efforts and contributed to saving energy and protecting the environment. We feel it is important to put your school and your hard work in the spotlight. Recipients of the awards will be recognized during a ceremony. Anybody from a Carbon Busters school can nominate a fellow student, teacher or custodian.
NEW! Carbon Busters will make a donation to the Nature Conservancy to protect 1 acre of rainforest for each Eco-Star category. Each winner will receive a certificate in his/her name with a photo of the site as well as a one year subscription to the Nature Conservancy magazine.
Eco-Star Award 2007
The submission deadline is February 28, 2007. The award ceremony will be held in May 2007. Nominate that special person in your school. Learn more about the Eco-Star Award and how to nominate someone by downloading the attached poster (PDF 176 KB) and the nomination form (PDF 140 KB).
