In terms of energy conservation, environmental education is as important as building upgrades and retrofits. At Carbon Busters we believe that informed and motivated students and staff will make the right decisions not only for the duration of the Carbon Busters Program, but also later on in life as citizens, employees, employers or politicians.
Carbon Busters provides grade-specific, curriculum-integrated lesson plans ranging from elementary to high school level for teachers. Annual workshops stimulate a deeper understanding and love for the environment. Contests and awards encourage students to conduct environmental projects as a class or as an environmental club. Posters, action plans and monthly eco-tips, as well as an e-newsletter ensure that communication flows freely between our Carbon Busters staff and your school.
