Carbon Busters® is a comprehensive program that reduces your school's utility bills, raises environmental awareness in students and staff through our environmental education package and reduces the ecological footprint of your school.
Combining environmental education and curricular links to environmental issues with hands-on activities for students, Carbon Busters provides students with the opportunity to integrate intellectual understanding with an opportunity to effect a positive change for an improved environment.
To increase the program's effectiveness, environmental audits are performed by Carbon Busters’ highly experienced specialists. Carbon Busters then recommends measures for reducing utility consumption and costs, incorporating cutting edge techniques and technologies for improved school operations.
Contrary to the myth that implementing measures for environmental protection is costly, the Carbon Busters program actually creates significant net savings for all participants.
Schools and school districts can then invest these savings in new equipment or additional teaching resources that enhance the quality of education. Alternatively, they may utilize the savings to eliminate deficits or perform much-needed maintenance on facilities.
Not only doees the Carbon Busters program yield direct, tangible environmental benefits, but a portion of the program savings are also donated to charitable organizations that provide effective solutions for environmental protection.
