Testimonials "From the first meeting prior to award of the project we knew we were dealing with a client-oriented organization." Alan Parkin, R.E.T. “I thoroughly enjoyed working with both of them [energy auditors]. I found their ideas new, innovative, and creative. The communities they visited were certainly excited about their visit and I believe they left a lasting impression on the people here in Alaska.” Rebecca Garrett Program Director Alaska Energy Authority, Alaska, U.S.A. |
“Horizon School Division has been with the Carbon Busters program for almost a year. When deciding on what energy conservation program to go with, Horizon School Division gave consideration to ease of implementation in our schools. Not wanting to add extensive work to our schools and classroom teachers, program structure, support materials and curriculum alignment were important. Of the different programs looked at, Carbon Busters had a structure in place for program implementation that was sequential, clear and distributed the responsibility. The program had the best fit with Alberta Science curriculum at the elementary level and corresponding lessons that did not require extra work by our teachers. As well, CBI was accommodating, thorough and friendly throughout the time they serviced schools on the use of the program.” Cheryl Gilmore Deputy Superintendent Horizon School Division, Taber, AB |
"Carbon Busters worked with the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) to develop a draft Energy Management Plan for AUMA's Energy Aggregation Program members. Carbon Busters facilitated brainstorming with the AUMA Utilities Committee to ensure a wide variety of energy management needs were addressed to the over all draft plan. Throughout the entire process, Carbon Busters were professional, thorough and offered valuable insight into energy management practices." “The City of Lloydminster has had the pleasure to work with your company [Carbon Busters] on a number of energy audits for various facilities that we own and operate. From the first meeting prior to award of the project we knew we were dealing with a client-oriented organization. We appreciate the time and effort spent by your entire [Carbon Busters] team ensuring that we were happy with the end project. This included detailed on-site reviews of each facility, in-depth analysis of energy consumption, on-site and follow-up review with staff and operators as well as a complete wrap-up presentation upon completion of the project. Throughout the course of this project, CBI kept us informed and ensured they knew our complete requirements for this project. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending CBI to anyone that may be considering an energy audit of his or her facilities.” Alan Parkin, R.E.T. Recreation Engineering Assistant Parks and Recreation Department, City of Lloydminster, AB. |
“The City of Yellowknife conducted an energy audit of its twenty three facilities totaling 25,000 square meters.
The scope of the project included an analysis of the utility bills, a walk-through evaluation of the facilities' electrical and mechanical components and a report recommending energy saving opportunities. Carbon Busters was selected through a competitive process to conduct this work. Their work was professional and met all City expectations. The audit report recommended $1.1 million in energy efficiency projects that are projected to yield $250,000 in annual savings. If you are interested in contacting me I would be happy to discuss our experience with the process.”
